The “Outing” in Scouting
Troop 1 holds one or two outdoor events each and every month. These events can include camping, hiking, backpacking, biking, kayaking/canoeing, rock climbing, snow activities, and community service projects. At the end of each school year, Troop 1 holds a Pool Party. Troop 1 regularly attends at least one week-long camp during the Summer. Summer camps are a great opportunity for advancement, and offer lots of fun and memories for Scouts.
